Perfect for beginners, curious adventurers, or anyone seeking a memorable day on the water. We depart Freeport Harbor for a three to four hour excursion aboard Sea Ox. The first and final thirty minutes feature an up-close look at the port’s active commercial shipping channel and working vessels. Once clear of the jetties, we raise the sails and head into the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Take the helm, assist with line handling, or simply sit back and take in the view.

A five-day offshore adventure running between Freeport and Port Aransas, Texas. This passage serves three distinct goals: helping sailors log qualifying sea time for USCG Captain or Offshore Yachtmaster credentials, providing prospective boat buyers with a true trial run before investing in a vessel, and offering adventure travelers an unforgettable offshore expedition.
The route includes an overnight stay at Port Aransas with time to explore Padre Island, along with contingency anchorage options near Matagorda to work around changing Gulf conditions. Due to weather planning, passages utilize a three-day departure window.
Duration: 5 Days (approx. 275 nautical miles)
Route: Freeport to Port Aransas, then back to Freeport
